Navigation, font size, contrast, keyboard shortcuts. Everything here applies only to you.

Do the settings change anything for everyone?

Path Settings

No. Everything here applies only to you — your colleagues continue to see their own set-up.

Whatever applies to everyone is not here but in the administration: mailboxes, user accounts, legal, deliverability.

The tabs of the settings. Under “Customise navigation” is the decisive sentence: it applies to your account only.

The text is too small for me. What can I do?

Under Accessibility you can set font size, contrast, line spacing and calmer movement. Everything takes effect immediately, without reloading.

There is also a choice of typefaces designed for legibility — Atkinson Hyperlegible and OpenDyslexic — and three colour adjustments for red, green and blue colour deficiency (protanopia, deuteranopia, tritanopia).

With “Reset to default” you can go back at any time.

The animations bother me. Can I switch them off?

Yes, under Accessibility there is the setting for calmer movement.

Aurora Hive Sales also follows your system setting: if you have chosen “Reduce motion” in the operating system, you get the calm version automatically — the demo films then also run as still images that you page through by hand.

Can I get more rows on the screen?

Yes, with the display density: Compact shows more at once, Comfortable is more spacious, Normal is in between.

On a large screen with long lists, Compact is worthwhile; on a laptop with a high resolution, Comfortable is often more pleasant than it sounds.

Where can I see the keyboard shortcuts?

Under Keyboard — the same overview that opens anywhere with “?”. What is listed there also works; the list is generated from the shortcuts actually assigned and is not maintained by hand.

If you cannot find a shortcut again: it depends on which modules are enabled for you.

How do I set what I am notified about?

Under Notifications. There you decide what appears in the bell at the top — new features, queries about reports, notes from ongoing processes.

Due tasks and follow-ups are independent of this: they always appear on your overview.

Where do I change my own password?

Under Account in the settings.

If you cannot sign in at all, the way does not lead here, but via “Forgotten your password?” on the sign-in page, or via your administrator, who can reset it.

How do I build my own menu groups?

With “Create new group” in the navigation. Then drag in the areas that belong together.

A split that has proved its worth: “Daily” with the four or five areas you really open every day, and everything else in a second group below it. That is more effective than any sorting by topic.

Can I still get to hidden areas?

Yes — hidden does not mean switched off. The area can still be reached via the search in the header, and links to it continue to work.

So feel free to hide generously. A menu with six items you use every day is faster than one with twenty, and the rare trip into a hidden area costs one keystroke.

I have messed everything up. How do I get back?

With “Reset to default” in the settings. This only affects your own set-up — nobody else notices anything.

So do not be afraid to experiment: there is nothing in this area that cannot be brought back with one click.

Do my settings also apply on another device?

Whatever is tied to your account — navigation, display, keyboard — comes with you as soon as you sign in.

Whatever is stored in the browser does not come with you. So if something looks different on the laptop from the desktop computer, that is why; set it up there once.

Should we all use the same settings in the team?

No — and that is the point: everything here applies only to you. Someone who makes a lot of calls needs a different menu from someone who writes templates.

What you should agree on in the team is something else: the things that affect everyone — categories, spellings, who creates contacts. That is not in the settings but in an agreement.

Is your question not listed?

Try the search — it covers all chapters at once. And if something really is missing here, let us know: in the program at the bottom right via “Report a problem”.
