Setup on the dashboard
All setup wizards in one place: what is still open, which step you are on, and how to hide what does not apply to you.

What does the “Setup” box on the dashboard mean?
It collects all setup wizards that are still open for your role — mailbox, legal texts, phone connection, domains, users and so on. Each card shows which stage the wizard belongs to and which step you are currently on.
The next three are shown. “Show all … open steps” expands the rest. Once everything is done, it says ✓ Setup complete.
A wizard does not apply to me — can I hide it?
Yes, with Ignore on the card. The wizard then disappears from the dashboard only for you; your colleagues still see it.
The wizard itself stays available on its own page, and so does the tour there. The box shows hidden ones again via “… hidden — show”; there, “Show again” brings them back onto the dashboard.
Is there a wizard that takes me through the whole setup?
Yes: Administration → Setup, or the ⚙ Start setup button in the “Setup” box on the dashboard.
On the left is the chain, in the order in which the steps depend on each other — company and legal details, keys, mailbox, deliverability, purchases, users, phone connection, domains. Under each step it says what comes next. On the right is where you work: it contains the real area with the same fields and buttons as on its own page — not a copy, but the page itself.
Two things save you work: progress is measured, not ticked off — whoever saves sees the tick. And as soon as a step really is done, the wizard moves on to the next open one by itself.
You can jump around at any time; the order is a suggestion with a reason behind it. If you want to work in an area for longer, “Full page” opens it at full size.
Is there a tour that explains the whole setup?
Yes, for owners: the 🧭 Owner tour button in the Setup box. It goes through the setup in the order in which the steps depend on each other, and changes pages by itself as it goes:
Company and legal details → keys (vault) → mailbox → deliverability → purchases → colleagues → phone connection → domains.
The page stays usable throughout: the field being explained is outlined, and the card sits next to it (and moves into the corner if there is no other room) — so you can enter right away what the step explains. The card shows the measured status, and as soon as a step is done, the tour moves on by itself.
You can stop at any time; nothing is ticked off, because the status is measured against the actual state of the system anyway. The 🧭 Tour button at the top of the header, by contrast, always shows the tour of the page you are on — and on every card, “🧭 Tour” leads into the tour of exactly that page.
The tour explains, the wizard gets it done. If you want to work through the setup in one flow, use “⚙ Start setup” instead — the real fields are already built in there.
Why do my staff see different wizards from me?
Because everyone only sees what they can do themselves. Admins and the owner also see the setup of the business: legal texts, users, deliverability, phone connection and domains. Everyone sees the steps that each person does for themselves — their own mailbox, the first contacts, the first campaign, making calls, the first website.
Anything that does not belong to the booked tier does not appear at all.
The card shows a step as open that I have already done.
The status is not ticked off but measured: every time the page loads, Aurora Hive checks whether the mailbox really is connected, whether the legal texts are filled in, whether the connection is registered. If a step is still open, there is usually a small thing missing — for example a mailbox that is connected but no longer signed in.
Click Next: the wizard opens exactly where something is still missing.
Is your question not listed?
Try the search — it covers all chapters at once. And if something really is missing here, let us know: in the program at the bottom right via “Report a problem”.
