One-pager

Single-page profiles from candidate data: generate, edit, put online, take away.

Separate product line. This area describes a separate product line of Aurora Hive Sales for staffing agencies. The areas described here are not part of the Start, Agency and Agency Plus plans. If you do not see them in your menu, they are not enabled for your installation — in that case this page is not the right one for you.

What is a one-pager?

Path Person one-pager

A single-page profile that you can send to a customer — generated from the candidate data, with the texts written by the AI. The content can then be edited directly on the page.

You put the page online, pass on the address, and the customer sees a designed profile instead of a PDF attachment.

How do I create a one-pager?

Caution: Regenerating overwrites all existing texts of the one-pager, including those changed by hand.

“+ Create new”, search for the candidate, have it created. The status moves from Generating… via Draft to Done.

Be careful with regenerating later: this overwrites existing texts — the AI then rewrites everything. If you have polished the texts, that work is gone afterwards.

“+ Create new” at the top right, next to it “Manage templates” for the designs.

How do I change the texts?

Via “✏ Edit” — or directly on the page itself when the editor is active.

The design — structure, colours, which sections exist at all — comes from the design template. If a section is missing, that is down to the template, not the content.

How do I put a one-pager online?

Caution: The preview slots are limited. Publishing overwrites an occupied slot — the previous one-pager is then offline.

Via “🌐 Put online”. There are two preview slots or a domain of your own.

Caution: an occupied slot is replaced when you publish. Whoever is in it is named in the confirmation dialogue — read it. Otherwise you take a colleague’s page offline whose address they have just sent to a customer.

Can a one-pager run under its own address?

Yes, via “+ Set domain”. The page is then no longer tied to one of the limited preview slots.

As with every address of your own: the DNS entry has to be in place first, then it is activated. The other way round, issuing the certificate fails — repeatedly.

Can the customer change their one-pager themselves?

Yes — via access to Aurora Hive Live. The customer gets their own password, clicks the pen on their page and changes texts themselves — without access to Aurora Hive Sales.

This is the usual way when a customer wants to correct small things without needing you every time.

Can I take a one-pager away with me?

Yes — “⬇ ZIP” packs the finished page for self-hosting, including the save function for the customer.

This is the right way if the page is to stay with the customer permanently or if you hand it over to an agency.

Do I have to check the generated texts?

Caution: A published one-pager is publicly accessible and shows personal data. Obtain the consent of the person concerned beforehand.

Yes, for two reasons.

Content: the texts are generated from the candidate data; whatever is vague there becomes a confident statement in the one-pager. Invented project sizes and time periods are the typical finding.

Legal: a one-pager that has been put online is a public website. It shows personal data of a person who must know about it and agree — and depending on the set-up, the page itself needs provider identification (a legal notice, Impressum).

What do the statuses of a one-pager mean?

  • Generating… — the texts are being written.
  • Draft — fully generated, but not online.
  • Done — edited and ready.
  • Error — generation did not complete.

With Error, a second attempt usually helps; if it stays that way, it is worth a report — with the candidate’s name and the time.

Where does the content of a one-pager come from?

From the candidate data — career, roles, skills, projects — turned into running text by the AI.

It follows that whatever is thinly maintained for the candidate will be either thin or invented on the page. So check the candidate file before generating; it saves more work than it costs.

Can I change the structure and colours of a one-pager?

Via the design template: it determines structure, colours and which sections exist.

If a section is missing, that is down to the template, not the content — and conversely, an existing section will not fill up if there is nothing about it in the candidate’s data.

How do I pass a one-pager on to a customer?

As an address, not as a file: you put the page online and send the link. That has two advantages — you can make corrections without sending a new file, and a link gets through every spam filter that a PDF gets stuck in.

If a file is explicitly requested, “⬇ ZIP” packs the finished page for self-hosting.

How do I take a one-pager offline again?

Caution: A one-pager that has been put online is public and can be picked up by search engines, even after it has been taken offline.

By freeing the slot or filling it with another one-pager — an occupied slot is replaced when you publish.

Bear in mind that the address may have been passed on in the meantime. For a profile that is to disappear permanently, this also raises the question of whether search engines have picked it up.

Is your question not listed?

Try the search — it covers all chapters at once. And if something really is missing here, let us know: in the program at the bottom right via “Report a problem”.
