Insolvency radar
Official announcements as an early warning, matched against your companies.

What does the insolvency radar do?
It evaluates the official insolvency announcements: new proceedings, administrators, law firms — and matches them against your companies.
The benefit is twofold: an early warning sign for customers at risk (unpaid invoices, ongoing projects) and, depending on your business, a way in to administrators and law firms.
How do I start a search, and how long does it take?
With “🔍 Search now”. Depending on the period, it runs for two to ten minutes; the log window shows live where the search has got to.
One click is enough. A second click does not make it faster — it only starts another run.
How do I work through the results?
The search field and the filters only affect what is displayed, not the search itself — so you are sorting what has already been found, without starting a new run.
Clicking a row expands the summary, including the case number. The case number is the detail to work with if in doubt: it identifies the proceedings unambiguously.
How do I take a case over into the CRM?
With “→ Lead”. The case is created as a contact; cases taken over in this way then carry the “In CRM” label.
Deleting only removes it from the list. The case disappears from the display, but it may turn up again at the next match — after all, the official source does not know that you clicked it away.
Am I allowed to write to companies I find here?
The data comes from an official, publicly accessible announcement — reading and evaluating it is unproblematic.
For approaching them, the same rules apply as elsewhere: business approaches need a factual connection and a balancing of interests; every advertising mail needs the unsubscribe link.
There is also a question of tact, which is not a legal question: for those affected, an insolvency is not an occasion. Anyone who comes on too strongly here loses more than they gain.
How do I find out whether one of my customers is affected?
The radar matches the announcements against your companies — that is its actual purpose as an early warning sign.
For this to work, the spelling of your company names has to be reasonably accurate. A company that has a different name in your records from the one in the official gazette will not be recognised. That is another reason to keep to a consistent spelling in the team.
A customer shows up in the radar. What now?
One step at a time, and without panic:
- Check open items. What is outstanding, which services are still running?
- Look at ongoing matters — contracts, projects, agreed appointments.
- Do not stop activities without consultation. Opened proceedings do not mean that nobody is working any more; often the business carries on.
- Set a follow-up. Deadlines in the proceedings are short.
And the commercial side belongs in your accounts, not in a CRM — Aurora Hive Sales tells you that something is going on, not what follows from it.
How up to date are the notices?
As up to date as the last run. The radar does not search constantly in the background — you start a search, and depending on the period it runs for two to ten minutes.
For an early warning sign, a regular rhythm is enough: once a week over the preceding period. Daily brings hardly anything more, because the announcements themselves do not appear any faster.
Why are administrators and law firms in the list?
Because in many business models they are the real contacts: an insolvency administrator awards contracts, needs service providers and decides on ongoing contracts.
With “→ Lead” they end up as a contact in the CRM. The “With law firm” filter narrows the list down accordingly.
What matters here is the tone: for the company affected it is not an occasion; for the administrator it is day-to-day business.
What does the “In CRM” label mean?
That you have already taken this case over with “→ Lead”. This way you can see straight away at the next run what has already been dealt with.
Important: deleting only removes it from the list. The case may turn up again at the next match — the official source knows nothing about your decision. If you want to hide a case permanently, it is better to take it over and mark it in the CRM.
Is your question not listed?
Try the search — it covers all chapters at once. And if something really is missing here, let us know: in the program at the bottom right via “Report a problem”.
